Ann Marie Davies is an established versatile actress and presenter with quality tv and theatre credits to date. TV acting includes; Heartbeat,Doctors and 4 years as a Brookside regular playing high drama storylines on a daily basis requiring wide ranging emotions. Presenter credits include a 12 part series for Granada Breeze plus ITV1 Granada regional tv hosting. Theatre includes; Anyone for Breakfast (national UK tour) and critically acclaimed football play One Night In Istanbul. In addition she has football presenting experience on Sky tv shows.Ann is originally from Liverpool now based near Milton Keynes and available UK wide.

After completing school Ann Marie Davies studied performing arts at college and began to work on short films the first of which saw her star alongside film and tv actress Margi Clarke. This film sealed her love for acting. Ann Marie’s natural ability was further enhanced with the added confidence she had gained in winning professional modelling contests at an early age and playing various sports in which she excelled, notably she later represented England at U19′s Volleyball. She was asked to audition for Brookside and beat many in the casting process, gaining a regular screen role at 23 years old.
Ann Marie Davies played for the role of Katrina Evans in Channel 4 soap Brookside, a role she played for 4 years between 1998 and 2001.
Her character Katrina Evans was a nanny and ran her own business on Brookside parade called Trina’s Tots, her first boyfriend was Jason Shadwick who she was engaged to and had an abortion.She had to deal with the tragic death of her fiance who was killed in a bomb explosion! Katrina later began to build a modelling career for herself and she and Max Farnham (Stephen Pinder) had to film an advert for Gossages Sausages, a very funny story line as Max was very attracted to Katrina, she did also become a nanny to his children. Katrina was best friends of Nikki Shadwick and was a shoulder to cry on during Nikki’s rape storyline. Ann Marie acted alongside many including, Stephen Pinder,Dean Sullivan,Bernie Nolan, Philip Oliver,Claire Sweeney and Les Dennis who played her father in the soap opera.

Ann Marie Davies has had several other TV acting roles to date, notably including playing Sandra in ITV1′s ‘Heartbeat’ (The Dreams that you dream,Season 16,Ep18) , Aleesha in Harry on the boat (Sky1) and as Zela Cawston in 2 episodes of BBC’1′s ‘Doctors’. She has also appeared in UK film council funded short films for various Merseyside new directors and emerging talent.
On stage Ann Marie Davies has completed a successful UK tour of Derick Benfields ‘Anyone for Breakfast’ as Helga, Rita in ‘Billy Liar’ at the Gala Theatre,Durham together with a role in the smash hit comedy called `’One Night In Istanbul’`based on Liverpool FC’s 2005 Champions League victory, the play has been staged several times in recent years and has seen Ann Marie perform in the prestigious Liverpool Empire Theatre and also the Grand Canal Theatre, Dublin. Ann Marie performed alongside comedian John Bishop and actor Neil Fitzmaurice in the play which to date has been seen by over 55,000 people in the 2 countries together with a successful DVD release nationwide.
Ann Marie has appeared in numerous successful pantomime productions, raising the roof on hundreds of performances and playing to sell out audiences around the country. She has appeared in the timeless fairy tale stories Aladdin, Snow White and Cinderella playing many classic panto roles like Cinderella, Aladdin and Fairy Snowflake.Ann Marie has has topped the bill and been a support principal in pantomime at several venues including Rotheram Civic Theatre and Crewe Lyceum.
Ann Marie Davies is a successful presenter with credits to date including; Reverand Bob Torque show a 12 x 30′ series for Granada Breeze, Lunchtime Live, a light entertainment daily show for ITV Granada and most recently a weekly football show called Off the Bar with Mathew Lorenzo. In this show each week she had a head to head gym competition with the guests, to include doing keep uppies with Argentinian world cup football legend Ossie Ardiles.

Other television guest appearances for Ann Marie Davies have to date included singing and taking part in Sugg’s pop quiz ‘Night Fever’ (Five), When Louis Met (BBC) and interviews / archive scenes for a Brookside Channel 4 DVD release. Ann Marie also appeared in ‘Celebrity Fear Factor’ (Sky1) in which she had to travel to South Africa and face many fears, one being heights! Her team won and raised £30,000 for charities including Breast cancer UK and `When You Wish Upon a Star’.
Away from television Ann Marie Davies has worked as a motivational presenter in schools and colleges throughout the UK delivering to a wide range of students. Lectures are based on her acting career and life experiences talking to the young people about mindsets, revision techniques, employability qualities and generally getting them to learn to be self starters.
She regularly runs for charity and has to date completed several marathons and raised money for the Jeans for Genes amongst others.
In her spare time Ann Marie Davies is a keen sports woman and having represented England at Under 19′s Volleyball. She is also keen and able to do well in Athletics, Badminton, basketball, Boxing, Field Hockey, Kick Boxing, Martial Arts, Roller skating, Running, Snowboarding and Swimming.
She is also a keen football fan and lives in Milton Keynes with her husband Karl, a top flight football club manager and their daughter Jasmine. She maintains close links with her home town of Liverpool where her career began.
