Hamilton Management are pleased to announce our client Adam Balding has signed for London Welsh following a successful trial. The 32-year-old ex-Leicester, Gloucester, Leeds and Worcester man left the Falcons after their relegation to the Championship last season.He told the club website: “I took some time away from rugby at the end of last season to recharge the batteries, but I’m delighted to be back.”I’m very grateful to get this opportunity.”Exiles head coach Lyn Jones said: “It’s a very good signing for us. Adam brings a wealth of experience in the Premiership and will be a huge addition on the training ground as well as on the pitch. It works well for both parties.”
Adam Balding is a professional Rugby Union player, a winner of 4 Aviva Premiership titles, the Amlin Challenge Cup and the Heinekin Cup. In November 2012 he joined London Welsh. He has over 200 first class games under his belt to include successful spells with Leicester Tigers, Gloucester, Worcester Warriors & Newcastle Falcons. A member of the England touring party to Argentina in 2003, he has trained with the national squad as part of their set up for many years in addition to representing England ‘A’ on 3 occasions.
